Our hotel in Hampi had a very different feel to it than the one in Badami. We each had our own quaint little round hut with a little veranda and a hammock to unwind on at the end of the day. It was a comfortable little place. The restaurant had a pizza making oven which was unexpected in the middle of a small town in India.

Veranda with a view
This is where we spend our evenings. It was very private except for the hundreds of frogs that lived in the fields.

Cosy Dining area
This area in the restaurant really made me feel like I was in India. Before you entered you had to remove your shoes and you sat at a low table on cushions. My back was still hurting me at this time so I took the opportunity to do some stretching while I was on the ground.
Restaurant Seating under the trees.

Bug protection
Every bed had a bug net over it to protect us from those annoying mosquito's. There are mosquito's in India in their winter season. My arms and legs are proof of that. I am glad we decided to take Malaria pills. Although Biri says that these mosquito's do not carry malaria. Better safe than sorry. The pills are causing swelling in my ankles and Paul's hands which is a drag but they don't seem to be causing any other problems. The swelling comes and goes.
Hot Water Heater
This is how our water was heated so you can imagine you had to work fast when you were in the shower. In the morning, we made sure the fire was going. This contraption was right close to our hut.
