As our afternoon safari was coming to a close, we decided to take one more look around Andhari Lake. We slowly inched along the road and stopped near other jeeps to see if they had had any luck so for. They told us that there was a female tiger in the brush beside us. We hunkered down in our jeeps to wait when suddenly see started to call to her sister. Shalik told us that it is rare to hear the tigers let alone about five times. This particular noise sounded like she was saying "Om", the chant that begins and ends every yoga class. After hearing this, it only increased our belief that tigers are regal special animals. Within minutes of her call, the tigress came out on the road behind us.
